The pristine beauty of early California is still evident in the rolling hills of Solano County. Howdy Rogers, a third generation fruit rancher from Vacaville was to be my advisor and co-pilot on the project. Together we traveled thousands of miles. Whenever I was with Howdy, time became transparent, history became visible.
